Jasmyne Huth

Jasmyne attended DeSales University after graduating from Pennsbury High School in 2012. While attending DeSales University she performed in numerous pieces in the Emerging Choreographers Concert, DeSales University Dance Ensemble, and Informal Concerts, along with choreographing two pieces, "Euphoria" for the 2014 Fall Informal Concert and "Circuits" for the 2016 Spring Informal Concert. She was also a member of the DeSales University’s Touring Company and DeSales University’s Dance Team. Jasmyne graduated from DeSales in 2016 with a BA in Dance and a minor in Psychology. After graduation, she accepted a full-time job as a drug and alcohol case manager and was given the amazing opportunity to come back to SSDS as the modern and primary dance instructor in 2016; she has been a staff member ever since. She has participated in SSDS’ Christmas shows, holiday parades, recitals, the 6abc Thanksgiving Day Parade and many other fun opportunities. She cannot imagine life without her SSDS family. In addition to case management and teaching, Jasmyne has performed in various shows throughout her post grad career including Downtown Dances in Lancaster, PA, Koresh Artist Showcase, Dance 333, and Collab: Theme and Variation. Her most recent performance was last summer in July 2018 on the Anthem of the Seas Cruise line. Jasmyne is currently attending Widener University for her Masters in Social Work and plans to graduate in May 2020 with her MSW and Trauma Certification. She hopes to become a Licensed Social Worker and Certified Addictions Counselor, with a focus in Substance Abuse Treatment and Trauma Therapy. She hopes to combine her love for dance and social work to help others in need. Jasmyne is extremely grateful for all of these amazing opportunities and is excited to see what the future holds!
